Hummingbird Chillin'

I have been relaxing at D's sister's pool to help ease the heat wave we are experiencing. Their backyard shares a lake with others and is home to all kinds of wildlife. Fish, ducks, egrets, herons, Canada geese and hummingbirds. I have a hummingbird couple that reside in my backyard and one has taken residence in theirs as well. They told me that it sits up top on this brass wind chime they have hanging. Sure enough, one day when I was there, it perched itself up top and sat there looking around. I grabbed my cell phone and snapped a quick shot. I decided to paint it for them. They don't know and all I have left is a clear coat of finish and then I'm going to surprise them with it. I hope it makes them smile long after their visitor has moved on.
